Suffering?

I don't have much to say today.   Both boys had soccer today.  My youngest little man is asleep in the van in the garage.  Hailey is jabbering away on the floor and my oldest has disappeared into the quietness (he needs a little alone time during the day).

I downloaded these pictures and thought about the negative comments that come to some people's mind when they think of a child with Down syndrome.

Does she look unhealthy?

Does she look unhappy?

Does this dad look like his daughter is a burden?

Does she look like she is suffering?

Do they look like they need your sympathy?

Does she look like she needs your pity?

The answer is NO to all of them.  She needs people to be educated, understanding and compassionate.  She needs people to love her and to accept her.
