Daddy's girl (31 for 21)

When Hailey was born, I was afraid I had disappointed my husband because I didn't deliver a "perfect" baby.  I was afraid I had let him down.  I didn't do what I was supposed to do.  I was terrified that they wouldn't have the relationship that we had dreamed.  Those two have put my fears to rest.

He has been by her side from day 1.  He spent the majority of her first night in the NICU with her while I attempted sleep.  He spent every moment he could with her.  He loves her just as much as the boys and she worships him the same as the boys do.  I love watching Hailey's face light up when Daddy enters the room or to watch her wiggle her way into the recliner with him at night.  She curls into his chest when I tell her it's time for bed.  Like he will save her :-)  She has convinced him to read more stories than I've ever seen him read to the boys.  There aren't many things he tells her "no" to.  I like to give him grief because he missed her birth (by less than 5 minutes), but he hasn't missed a thing since!

I would be afraid to count the number of hours this girl slept like this before her OHS.
